Project Manager for Photovoltaic Systems (m/f/d)

The internationally active RODOPI Holding, headquartered in Düsseldorf, is an established service partner for projects in the areas of corrosion protection, maintenance of wind turbines, rotor blade production and photovoltaic technology. Due to the strong growth of the company, we are now looking for a:

Project Manager for Photovoltaic Systems (m/f/d)

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Management and implementation of photovoltaic projects from the conception phase to commissioning, including project planning, budgeting and time management.
  • Coordination of all project stakeholders including internal teams, external service providers, suppliers and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and according to quality standards.
  • Monitoring the progress of construction projects, identifying potential delays or issues and implementing appropriate resolutions to ensure project schedules are met.
  • Ensuring compliance with government regulations, environmental standards and safety guidelines throughout the project.
  • Budget management and cost control to ensure project costs stay within approved budget.
  • Preparation of implementation and detailed planning including planning documents (module plan, string plans, wiring plans and substructure plans).
  • Quality control of the electronic installation (DC side) and identification of opportunities to optimize project flow and results.
  • Documentation and reporting on the course of the project, the milestones reached and the results achieved.

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering, electrical engineering, renewable energies, project management or a comparable qualification.
  • Proof of experience in the implementation of photovoltaic projects, preferably in the area of planning, construction or operation of solar systems.
  • Fundamental understanding of photovoltaic technology including safe handling of MS Office, CAD, PVSol and K2 Base.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, time management, budget control and risk management.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to interact effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of official regulations and environmental standards in the field of photovoltaics.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
