Your Next Opportunity
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Industrial Painter & Corrosion Technician to join our team. This role involves surface preparation, applying protective coatings, and ensuring high-quality corrosion protection for industrial structures. The position is crucial in maintaining durability and longevity in demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Scraping, sanding, and cleaning surfaces to remove dirt, grease, and rust
- Assessing and inspecting corrosion damage on offshore platforms
- Implementing corrosion protection measures such as coatings and insulation
- Applying paints or protective coatings using spray guns, rollers, or brushes
- Monitoring drying times and colour intensity to ensure work meets specifications
- Carrying out regular inspections and maintenance of corrosion protection systems
- Identifying and addressing areas requiring reapplication or additional protective measures
- Collaborating with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
- Ensuring strict adherence to occupational safety and environmental protection regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with industrial painting techniques (e.g., spray painting, sandblasting)
- Valid A1 certificate and EU citizenship
- Knowledge of corrosion control methods and protective coatings
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety guidelines
- Comfortable working at heights, offshore, or in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Physical stamina for demanding work environments
