Specialized Repair, Restoration & Protection for Wind Turbine Components
RODOPI’s Wind Maintenance & Repair services cover every critical component of a wind turbine. Our teams perform visual, drone-based, and lightning protection system inspections—both on the ground and via rope access. We specialize in GFRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic) repairs using epoxy or polyester, covering everything from blade cracks and bonding issues to nacelle and hub structure restoration. In addition, we install performance-enhancing components like vortex generators and sensors. On the tower side, we handle dent repairs, vibration mitigation, and high-grade anti-corrosion coatings. Our electrical and mechanical experts work on heating systems, retrofits, brake pads, generators, winches, lifts, pumps, and lubrication systems. George Lampadas is the Head of Maintenance & Service at RODOPI, with over six years of experience in industrial maintenance, wind turbine operations and retrofit projects. He has a proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams, optimizing preventive and corrective maintenance and ensuring safety, compliance and efficiency across global projects. With expertise in blade repairs, corrosion protection and troubleshooting for various OEMs, George brings a deep technical knowledge that drives results in demanding environments. His background in composites manufacturing and aerospace applications further strengthens his focus on process optimization and continuous improvement in maintenance operations.
