When these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We would like to point out that no data protection level comparable to that in the EU can be guaranteed in these countries. For example, US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you being able to take legal action against it. It can therefore not be ruled out that US authorities (e.g., intelligence services) process, evaluate, and permanently store your data located on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.
Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing

SSL or TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser address line changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Cookies
Our internet pages use so-called “cookies.” Cookies are small data packages that do not cause any harm to your end device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or until your web browser automatically deletes them.
Cookies can originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services of third-party companies within websites (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have different functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g., the shopping cart function or video display). Other cookies can be used to analyze user behavior or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g., shopping cart function), or to optimize the website (e.g., cookies for measuring the web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to store cookies and comparable recognition technologies was requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies, to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and to enable the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Which cookies and services are used on this website can be found in this Privacy Policy.
Cookies
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone, or fax, your inquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in effectively handling inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you send us via contact inquiries will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your inquiry has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions, in particular legal retention periods, remain unaffected.
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to integrate tracking or statistical tools and other technologies into our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, store cookies, or carry out independent analyses. It only serves to manage and display the tools integrated via it. However, Google Tag Manager does record your IP address, which may also be transferred to Google’s parent company in the United States.
The use of Google Tag Manager is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the quick and uncomplicated integration and administration of various tools on its website. If a corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g., device fingerprinting) in the sense of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
YouTube with Extended Privacy Mode
This website integrates videos from YouTube. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use YouTube in extended privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode ensures that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch a video. However, data transfer to YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by the extended privacy mode. Regardless of whether you watch a video, YouTube connects to the Google DoubleClick network.
As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to directly associate your browsing behavior with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Furthermore, YouTube can save various cookies on your device or use comparable recognition technologies (e.g., device fingerprinting) once a video is started. In this way, YouTube may receive information about visitors to this website. Among other things, this information is used to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness, and prevent fraud attempts.
Additional data processing operations may be triggered after starting a YouTube video, over which we have no control.
The use of YouTube is in the interest of presenting our online offers in an appealing manner. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g., device fingerprinting). Consent can be revoked at any time.
Further information on data protection at YouTube can be found in their Privacy Policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
YouTube with Extended Privacy Mode
This site uses the Google Maps map service. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer. If Google Maps is activated, Google may use Google Fonts for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up Google Maps, your browser loads the necessary web fonts into its cache to correctly display text and fonts.
The use of Google Maps is in the interest of presenting our online offers in an appealing manner and of making the locations we specify on the website easy to find.
The transfer of data to the USA is based on the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Details can be found here:
https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/ and https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/sccs/.
More information on the handling of user data can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
Handling of Applicant Data
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g., by e-mail, post, or via online application form). Below, we inform you about the scope, purpose, and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing, and use of your data will take place in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other statutory provisions and that your data will be treated strictly confidentially.
Scope and Purpose of Data Collection
If you send us an application, we process your associated personal data (e.g., contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during interviews, etc.), insofar as this is necessary to decide on establishing an employment relationship. The legal basis is § 26 BDSG (initiation of an employment relationship under German law), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (general initiation of contracts), and, if you have given consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data will only be passed on within our company to persons involved in processing your application.
If the application is successful, the data you have submitted will be stored in our data processing systems for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship on the basis of § 26 BDSG and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Data Retention Period
If we cannot offer you a position, you reject a position, or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have transmitted to us based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for up to 6 months after the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal). The data will then be deleted, and physical application documents destroyed. Retention serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. If it is apparent that the data will still be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g., due to a pending or threatened legal dispute), deletion will only take place once the purpose for further retention no longer applies.
Longer retention may also take place if you have given corresponding consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or if statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
This Privacy Policy is currently valid.
