Your Next Opportunity

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Blade Repair Technician to join our team. This role involves surface preparation, applying protective coatings, and ensuring high-quality corrosion protection for industrial structures. The position is crucial in maintaining durability and longevity in demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Scraping, sanding, and cleaning surfaces to remove dirt, grease, and rust
• Assessing and inspecting corrosion damage on offshore platforms
• Implementing corrosion protection measures such as coatings and insulation
• Applying paints or protective coatings using spray guns, rollers, or brushes
• Monitoring drying times and colour intensity to ensure work meets specifications
• Carrying out regular inspections and maintenance of corrosion protection systems
• Identifying and addressing areas requiring reapplication or additional protective measures
• Collaborating with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
• Ensuring strict adherence to occupational safety and environmental protection regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with industrial painting techniques (e.g., spray painting, sandblasting)
• Valid A1 certificate and EU citizenship
• Knowledge of corrosion control methods and protective coatings
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety guidelines
• Comfortable working at heights, offshore, or in confined spaces
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Physical stamina for demanding work environments
