RODOPI is also one of the highly specialized personnel service providers in the field of rotor blade production. In this area, prefinishing, finishing and repairs of rotor blades are carried out worldwide for well-known manufacturers.
Due to strong growth of the business, we are currently looking for a:
Industrial Painter & Corrosion Technician (Offshore) (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and cleaning to ensure they are free of
dirt, grease, and rust - Inspect and evaluate corrosion damage on offshore platforms
- Apply paint or coating to surfaces to prevent corrosion or enhance aesthetics
- Use spray guns, rollers, or brushes to apply paint or coating
- Perform corrosion protection measures such as coatings, insulation
- Monitor drying time and color intensity to ensure work meets specifications
- Perform inspections and maintenance work on corrosion protection systems
- Work in a team and in collaboration with other craftsmen on the offshore
platform to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget - Comply with work safety regulations and environmental protection regulations
throughout the project
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in industrial painting & corrosion protection technology
- Experience working on offshore platforms or in other rough environments
- Good understanding of various paint types, coatings and various corrosion
protection methods - Knowledge of conducting inspections and maintenance work on corrosion
protection systems - Ability to perform physically demanding work and able to work on a platform
- Ability to work in a team and have good communication skills
- Good knowledge of work safety regulations and environmental protection
regulations
